Picasso at the Heritage

A lovely Monday morning was spent at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum.  Saw some of my kids there with their parents and we enjoyed looking at Picasso’s work and coming up with stories about them.  My favourite from the exhibit is Paul Dessinantdog on wheels, bright red shoes, drawing, blues and greens. What more can I say?

One of the K students said this painting looked like a penguin swimming if you turned it on its side.  I told him the blue parts at the bottom could very well be seals. Perhaps this is not a woman in a chair at all.

Two other galleries that you should check out at the museum is the Cantonese Opera Heritage Hall

and the New Territories Heritage Hall

loving these typhoon signal sculptures

Much to learn about Hong Kong history and culture…or should I just say heritage? ; )

The Picasso exhibit is well worth HK$20 (~US$2.50). Check the schedule before you go as some weekends are sold out already.
