Usually only do design work for friends but somehow in all the excitement and discussions about airport codes, lettering, travel and printing, we had the brilliant idea to make them too. Turned out to be much more labour intensive than imagined ; ). Was slightly behind schedule but we managed to get them all printed, cut, assembled and posted out in time for rsvps.
Her theme was travel/adventures/journeys so we went the tag route. We tried out a few options for the pages–eyeletting them together so they swivel, individual pages strung and also the accordion–which she ended up liking the most.
Was a delightful surprise to receive an invitation of my own and with a little extra Cavallini love added to it which I so appreciated. ♥ Cavallini…and SF ; ). The thoughtfulness in details and the little things…one of the many reasons CMP is dear to my heart.
- all time favourite ribbon store: Wing Fung Industrial 201-207 Yu Chau Street, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon, Hong Kong
- stationers: cn square 503 Nathan Road, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon, Hong Kong
- best tool of the project: eyelet punch…This one I bought in SSP is better than the one I already have. Gives a clean edge on the reverse of the eyelet–none of the splitting and curling over of the metal.
