the reason i jump

But nature is always there at hand to wrap us up, gently: glowing, swaying, bubbling, rustling. –Naoki Higashida

A beautiful quick read that took over The Gift and Pedagogy of the Oppressed : ). The Q & A format of the book is simple and poignant.  What resonated with me most is the relationship, the friendship Naoki has with nature and the depth and connection with the world around him that he describes. The art by Kai and Sunny accompanying the book is also stunning.
